Coronavirus

Check your vaccine status if you have had AZ. Seems a whole load of people (5m at least) have been given the AZ batches produced in India. Nothing wrong with it as its the exact same vaccine but 1 small issue....the EU have only approved AZ made in UK and the EU. The one made in India is therefore classed seperately and as its not approved, it means you are not fully vaxed in the eyes of the EU

Vacc batches - 4120Z001, 4120Z002, 4120Z003

Superbly, my 2nd jab is one of those batches.

40040 for me, second one is on Wednesday

UK teens are using lemon juice to fake positive Covid tests and get whole classes sent home from school

Fair play to the little fucker that discovered this works. When I was a school you had to hope it got burnt to the ground to get some extra time off

no impact on me, but mrs jellys first dose was 4120Z002
Not that we're going to be travelling anywhere, so no real impact on us tbh. Booster jab will fix it when it happens.

My first jab was from 4120Z002...

My batch numbers say PV46677 and PV46697.

Not that I plan on travelling to the EU any time soon.

Alan Brazil tested positive last week despite having both jabs and says he's been quite ill. He has presented his show from home this week.

I would suggest that given Brazil's weight and lifestyle, the fact that he's still here to tell the tale suggests that the vaccines work!

I kinda wonder how things will play out for places like New Zealand and Australia. They've gone for a zero Covid approach and will presumably look to lift sanctions once everyone has been double jabbed.

What we seem to be learning is that the virus will still spread even with double jabs and it will still cause some people to need hospital and unfortunately some will die. The rates will be drastically lower than here for example, but it will still happen as soon as they lift lockdown.

yeah, they have just shut down and not got onboard with the vaccinations as we have..could be many lockdowns still for them while vaccinating people..

Australia won’t be lifting restrictions any time soon then as they’ve only vaccinated 5% of the population!

My mate who lives there says the rollout out is a bit rubbish and people aren’t really desperate to go and have it.

Australian government isn't opening the borders until June 2022. The vaccine rollout is erratic at best with the population generally not wanting the risk of blood clots, etc from being jabbed.
