A high % of over 80's and care homes are done. So if GP's in those areas are doing home visits their numbers per day will dramatically drop.That's good to know, I've also heard (not sure on the veracity of the claim) that the focus is on the smaller homes with over 80s with less occupancy so it stands to reason the numbers might be lower than usual IF this is true
With them moving to the next group from yesterday there will be a delay there as they contact people and get them booked in. As long as at the end of the week the target numbers are being hit its all good.
More places are opening in the coming weeks. Where I live currently has no vaccine centre but I know the Telford hospital in charge of Shropshire are currently interviewing for staff to cover 6 or 7 centres.
