Chelsea (H) Carabao Cup R4: Build Up, Match & Verdict

Winning in the league cup a competition we aren’t going to win isn’t the same feeling as winning PL win.
If we won tomorrow we might end up winning more cup games this season than league games.

We might already have done so!
certainly don’t think we will win more than 5 league games. Basically we’re like a championship team trying to beat PL opposition, like the cup very occasionally you’ll win but more often you’ll lose.

Could make a case to say we won't weaken ourselves that much by rotating.

I would go to a back three and for most it would be a case of play well here and you play on Saturday.

Sa
Mosquera, Agbadou, Krejci
Tchatchoua, Andre, J. Gomes, R. Gomes
Arias, Fer Lopez
Tolu

Coming up from Cornwall again for this one, enjoyed the Everton game obviously so hoping for a repeat but not too hopeful. I do have an over 65 ticket going spare for free if anyone wants it as my Dad can’t make it now, feel free to message me if you want it sent over.
Let’s hope there’s something to cheer about, that’s why we do it, right?!

Apart from a few who I wouldn't giving a go like Mosquera, Tolu, and Fer Lopez I wouldn't rotate much. Our depth is shit anyway.

Like most matches now I feel like we're rather at the mercy of the opposition. If Chelsea want to we could be in for a thrashing, but as it's the League Cup they may just keep us at arm's length.

In our favour is the fact that Maresca is a shit manager, he routinely massively underperforms with the players he has.

But you still can't see it.

What I love is that Hwang still gets in there 🤣🤣🤣

Just fuck off Vítor you joker.

No Andre in the squad at all.
