I'm really pleased with this performance, but it's frustrating we can't have this intensity against the sides near the bottom too.

We’ve played to our opponents for several seasons now . Best city one week then bring amateur hour to the worst PL side in decades

Good half. Let's hope we can continue that in the second.

Nunes has played well but he's occasionally been left isolated with Costa preferring the left side of the pitch most times. Only Semedo overlapping has helped him out.

Cunha hasn't done a lot but Podence has been ok.

Gomes has been good in the middle. Certainly more mobile and forward thinking.

Kilman has been good so far.

Really decent 1st half, deservedly on top. I think the midfield 3 of Gomes, Nunes and Lemina have been excellent. Costa has led the line pretty well, even Podence has been ok. Defensively no mental lapses so far, we've concentrated and kept our discipline for the most part. And the goal was a beauty. More of the same in the 2nd half would be just the ticket!

I still feel Chelsea will score at some point. We've defended well but they have good players to capitalise on any errors.

I'd imagine Lop will go 4-3-3 at some point and put an extra man in midfield. Probably Moutinho for Costa and leave Nunes up wide right.

Chelsea can't be as bad as they were first half so I expect them to come into it a bit, hopefully we continue in the same vein.
