Sa is going to give me a heart attack

Fucking hell Cunha

Dreadful half with one or two decent opportunities. Defensively all over the shop, and passing gifting them the ball back regularly.

Sa always roll the ball out fast creating trouble for us

Pretty much all of Chelsea's chances have come from us overplaying or fucking up.

Reasonable enough spell from us at the end of the half to suggest we can still win this. Chelsea are often as inept as us in front of goal.

Generally rubbish game of football which is why there’s been “action” from each team’s mistakes.

At least O’Neil realised how open we are centrally and plugged that. But it’s a general theme he’s got to solve. He’s asking too much of Lemina and Gomes (who is still very inconsistent as it is)

Two sides who are less than the sum of their parts at the moment.

Seems clear that GO is a very good player’s coach; the effort hasn’t been this consistently high since Nuno.

That said, our interplay has no conviction at all. We’re still just waiting for someone to make something magical happen, which is fair enough for some matches but ideally you’d want more than that.

Cunha, Hwang, and Sarabia are all being hung out to dry by the “run around and make it happen” vibes.

I’m still not sure how much of this is o Neil and how much is that we have a lot of not very good players

Pretty poor performance from both teams so far. Cunha has been poor and Hwang little better, just not convinced he is a Premiership player.

Combination of both. Some of the players would make mistakes no matter who was coaching them.

Id like us to stop starting games so slowly.

Shocking first 25, we looked like conceding every time Chelsea came forward but then got a foothold, last 10-15 we played well, pity we couldn't score in that period.

Poor quality of a game, ball retention has been pretty awful for a PL level.
Chelsea in reality are one bit of composure from winning this I don’t see us scoring. Last 15 minutes of that half will gloss over what was an appalling 30 minutes.

Bullshit foul from Coote no3.

Was out for the first half, just got back for the second. How come Pedro isn’t on the bench? Thought GON said he’d be good to go from this game?
