Chelsea (A) - Verdict (by Treddman)

Not only goals and assists... every time he is hustling, getting back, running, trying to win the ball, getting defensive headers off opposition corners, clearing the ball. Its like having an extra man on the pitch in defense when you compare him to the average striker (ie sit and wait for the ball ala traore)

Both the first two count as assists.

I think his assists are against

Man Utd (A)
Southampton (H)
Crystal Palace (A)
Tottenham (H) - the penaly
Arsenal (A)
Cardiff (A) - header saved then Doc put rebound in
Leicester (H)
Cardiff (H)

Am I missing any others, that is 8 in total?

The Cardiff header hasn't been counted officially.

As long as they don't try to take the Chelsea goal off him because it hit Azpilicuetta's heel before going in.

They won't. His shot was on target so it will go down as his goal

Equalled it in league goals, Fletcher also got 12 in 2011/12

Had to take a listen to Shitsby & Tosser on Talkshite this afternoon.
Jacobs never fails to dissapoint, "Wolves playing that, i call it, typical Portugese anti football, yes they defended well but its so tedious"
Love hearing that unfunny twat get riled up.

I honestly think there's no more tedious team to watch than Man City. Yes, they're good, but I find it painfully dull to watch.

I was never a tiki-taka fan, but this city side are ace to watch.

I just think it is fucking marvellous that we have annoyed that weapons grade bellend Jacobs

Me too, thing is, he's old enough to remember the running track, (not turned on) electric fences, division 2, fulham being more glamorous, constant mid table finishes, But still he acts like ya typical Chelseabramovich££ twat.
That song Man Utd sing about em is one of the best chants in football imo.

Cars parked on the running track too

to help perspective ,despite having a poor league season by their standards, chelsea have lost once at home, drawing 5 and winning 9. they were also the first team to beat man city.

And it was no fluke. It wasnt a batten down the hatches, 10 world class saves and blocks , it wasnt for instance like the cup game at City last year when we defended like the alamo and rightly got lauded. This was a tactical defensive performance where each player knew their role and it took a world class player to perform a little bit of magic in injury time to get Chelsea a point. It was a classic counter attacking defensive performance, that oh so nearly worked.

I think it must of been a bad week for keepers as Patricio made Crooks 11 of the week. To me he was a solid 7 as for the third or fourth time this season he was beaten low to his left. Before you start I am not blaming him. Goals from Arsenal, Leciester, Huddersfield and now Chelsea have all gone in there from outside of the box so I would just keep an eye on it!

Excellent point.

Watching the highlights this evening and Chelsea created bugger all clear cut chances. It was no classic to watch in terms of action but it was a real study in How a team could defend with discipline.

It’s a real testament to the way Nuno has drilled the players for close to 2 years in maintaining their defensive shape.
