I can understand why he's reticent, I mean he's proven himself to a degree in the Premier League (12 goals despite only ever starting 19 games is decent whichever way you cut it) so why would you want to move to a club that as it stands, have very little chance of going up from the Championship any time soon.

Wasn't 4 or 5 of those goals against lower league opposition in the cup?

I don't know and don't really have the inclination to check. The point is he's scored quite a decent number of goals at the highest possible domestic level despite limited gametime, so I can see why he wouldn't really fancy moving to Bristol City.

Bolton and Blackburn both look really poor to me this season.

Freedman could be in trouble at Forest soon, their owner is a trigger happy prat and they haven't won since March.

On the back of last week I'd say Blackburn have just enough about them to survive. Bolton are terrible though. Shame.
