Cardiff (H): Matchday Thread

If that referees performance was as bad as it sounded I am sure we will put a report in to The League

Referee was atrocious, but they were the better team and deserved the win.

Moving on - next two games against Brentford and Millwall, the bottom two. If we can win them two it's a brilliant start

Very disappointed yes the ref was a disgrace he let so much go it was clear what Cardiff were doing. Any time we tried to break they fouled us and he let most of it go. Totally disrupted our football. Defensively both Douglas and Miranda struggled today Boly was as good as ever and Coady seemed alright .

Did the 2nd goal take a deflection?? It was hit very well but looked to be right at Ruddy so need to see that one back.

Cardiff caused us all sorts of problems at the back and we can't complain about losing as other than a few spells they were better.

Sadly I can see a few teams choosing that style, maybe not quite as extreme as that (yes it was that bad)

MOTM for me probably Bright.... Not a good game at all.

Sounds like they did a Shrewsbury on us.

Guess what other teams will do in future. We've got to learn to cope with these situations.

I think they did a job on us tonight and reluctantly agree. Colin played his usual anti football tactic and it worked. We need to be able to find a way to deal with thugs like Cardiff to be able to get out the league. They were also very will organised. Fortunately, there's few other teams in this league who will be able to do that to us.

It wouldn't have been as bad if the ref wasn't a fucking disgrace.

That would have made it 1-1 because Ralls shouldn't have been on the pitch to score the first.

Perspective: terrible defending for both goals, but if the second goal doesn't happen we would probably have gone on and won.

An important lesson and no bad thing that they've had it at these stage of the season. I saw enough today to still be very optimistic.

The ref was downright appalling.

Still a good start to the season......but why did it have to be him? I'm not the kind of person that slings around the 'H' word, but Warnock I absolutely HATE.....such a pity he's so good at what he does. Wejust have to get on with it and hope Nuno's learnt something today, no doubt he will have come up against thuggish tactics before in Portugal and hopefully has the answers

3rd behind Cardiff and Ipswich, neither will be in the top 2 by Christmas. I expected a slower start than we have and over all im happy, but losing to a Warnock side always hurts. Get that striker in and Marhall and Costa and we will be stronger. Certainly nothing to panic about there were still moments in the game where we played good football.
