We’ve come with a clear game plan. Bypassing our own midfield very often - by actually neves has got himself in good positions picking up loose balls to set us on the counter

Costa very disappointing for me - really lacking confidence against Manga. I’d get Jota up against him

Traore looks knackered, he won’t be on for much longer. Did pretty well though

Well we’re winning but we haven’t played well. I know Traore’s quick but we’re playing more hoof ball than Cardiff because of it, there is a strange lack of composure from midfield onwards. Think the centre backs are doing alright, Boly back to his best but we need more from the front 3.

Thankfully we've looked fairly comfortable at the back against their aerial bombardment.

Jimenez has done just about ok, Traore less so, and Costa the worst who hasn't done a thing right and keeps losing it cheaply. Cav on for him please!

Wouldn't surprise me to see MGW come on for one of the front three to drop back and help in midfield if it stays the same scoreline later on.

Front three poor but might (just) have to factor in that it's pissing down and control must be tough. Boly back to his best - apart from going to sleep once - and think both Vinagre and Saiss are doing well. Won't feel comfortable until it's 0-3 though...

Traore has no first touch but scares them at the back

Costa has been pushed over too often - against this lot may need a bit more physicality in the second half

Moutinho and Neves have done their jobs superbly tonight. Protecting the back three. Raul has done a pretty decent job top swapping with Adama often.

It’s an ugly game but won we have definitely had the better of. Their back 3 is so exposed though I would like to see us make the most of that.

Apart from the odd counter attack by Traore, I'd say we've been poor. We can barely string any passes together. Thankfully, Cardiff have also been shite.

I'd take a scrappy 1-0 win, though.

Cardiffs lack of quality has prevented them from punishing us in the way Watford and Huddersfield did.

Traore the only threat going forward. Jimenez poor. Costa just not the player he was and I don't know why.

Crap game looks like a lower Championship quality match rather than EPL. Great finish for the goal but otherwise poor. Don't care if we win but would like to see more 2nd half.
