I don't think Pulis took Woodgate off as an act of contrition or anything. He did it because Jarvis was absolutely ripping him every time he got the ball. Same as Gary Neville getting hauled off in his final ever game for United when Jerome Thomas (of all people) was caning him.

Poor game to be honest. Apart from Doherty's strike we haven't threatened. Iorfa has been poor, Dicko struggled to
hold it up and Edwards and Saville have not managed to get hold of the ball. Stearman best player and Batth probably just behind him.
