Unfortunately, he’s being 100% serious with this post. Helmet.

Why on Earth would one look at the assistant VAR name and think "don't recognise them, off to Google!" ffs. Just weird

Had to Google the two females. Never heard of either of them.
Assumed Courtney was a bloke beforehand.
Have no interest in womens football.
Sorry.
Courtney has commentated on several of our games before very recently.

I love the smell of casual misogyny in the morning.

“The two females”?? They’re people, dude.

A Wolves fan with access to Facebook (no idea - it popped up on my newsfeed this morning).
Oh, no shock an idiot on Facebook comes out with comments like this.

I thought it would be some sort of insight not just some nobody.

She's not too bad TBF. Apart from when we played Sheffield Utd where constantly calling them Blades showed where her allegiances as a former player for them lay.

Always a hard balance to strike. Don Goodman gets stick because I think he makes an active effort not to favour clubs he likes (we are his favourite former club by a distance, if you ever speak to him) and people then think he's being unfair.

It's obvious that Dave Edwards wants us to do well but I don't think he crosses the line.

Having the likes of Tony Gale on West Ham games is complete nonsense as they're incapable of providing any kind of balanced opinion. Also as a main commentator, Alan Parry was unbearable on Liverpool games.

A win tonight could really kick us off on a decent run . It's a big game for us , our first home fixture this season where we'll be favourites for sure and expected to win .
That brings its own pressure . They'll be in good mood following last Saturday , they'll be happy with a draw one suspects .

We've been scoring regularly this season and are good to watch - but still can't score more than 2 in any league match .

I'm going for a very nervous narrow win .

This is such an odd thing to pick up on. Only Brentford have scored more than us in the bottom half (it's not especially close either) and we've scored more than Man Utd who are 7th.

I'm more bothered that we've kept two clean sheets all season and one was against a half-strength Blackpool team.

I mean, I wasn’t aware that mid/low mid table teams were known for scoring 3+ very often at all.

It’s kind of a moot point for us IMO. We’re not going to be involved in a relegation scrap, or a European push, so GD isn’t really going to impact us this year. Unless you consider finishing 13th instead of 12th because you don’t score 3 goals in a game a real impact. Personally, I don’t.

We’re far more entertaining than we have been in recent years

I suppose it comes from watching us creating so few chances over the last number of years and being poor to watch by and large . Now we're a decent watch , are very keen to attack and get bodies in the box . I suppose I'm being a bit greedy .
Just love to see us get the goals that our play definitely deserves over the course of a match - not every match mind you .

Brighton have actually conceded more than we have , but score regularly . They're having a weird season though , slowly falling down the table .

2003/04: 38 goals
2009/10: 32 goals
2010/11: 46 goals
2011/12: 40 goals
2018/19: 47 goals
2019/20: 51 goals
2020/21: 36 goals
2021/22: 38 goals
2022/23: 31 goals
2023/24: 19 goals*

At our current rate we'll either match or beat our record PL tally of 51 goals, and this with having a ridiculously hard run of home games so far.
