Burnley (A) 30.03.2019

I don't have time to do it currently, but surely a league table that removes the top 6 and is then just based on everyone elses results. I found one from January and we were 8th in that. Anyone know a site that would quickly let you calculate that?

Yeah, that's right . We can't get to games or can't get a ticket so we watch it all on TV and come up with absolute nonsense.

Ffs.

I must admit that being at the game rather than watching on a stream can give a totally different feel to the game sometimes. I watched most of the game yesterday but waited until my mates who had gone to give me their view of the match to fully access the game.

That is fair, but I took the original comment as a barbed dig.

Alan doesn't get to many games. He is still a real fan.

There are some nuggets you just don't get on TV. Kenny can hear Patricio direct the defence so was able to refute my is he too quiet question.

I agree there is no substitute for going to the game. However relying on somebody who knows the square root of FA about football is counterproductive to getting a good view of the game.

You only get what the TV shows you (obvs) so you don't get to see runs off the ball or defensive organisation. Flow is easier to see live as is the 'temperature' of the game.

Saying that, there are no replays or close ups and if you've had a beer or two you may well miss stuff.

Oh no doubt... All of us are fans it's just some of us have the good fortune to be able to attend the games. It doesn't make me, or anyone else, more of a fan. It's fine to be a fan from another country and I'm sure we will attract many more

I’d love to be able to give a concise verdict of yesterday’s match but unfortunately four hours drinking at some of Burnley’s finest establishments somewhat clouded my view of the afternoons proceedings.

Good laugh at the cricket ground before the game.

Shame the match ruined a decent day out. Just didnt look at the races after the intl break, one of those days - they are scrapping for their lives and are proper shithouses especially at home.

Looks like all our eggs are in the FA Cup basket in terms of mentalilty (whatever that means...)

It was a great laugh at the cricket club before the match, really enjoyed it
Good on Jay getting the Corner Shop song going

The cricket club at Burnley is a decent spot. Thoroughly enjoyed it in there the last time I did Turf Moor. Couple of beers with a friend who is sadly no longer with us and missed greatly. Great memories.

I nodded off for 5 mins during this game. That's my assessment :icon_lol:
