Bristol City (H) Build Up thread

Half ends

Some good play, one shit bit of defending.

Could/should have retaken the lead right at the death

Good half of football, we dominated and they got a spawny goal.

Good to see that we can crank it up a couple of notches when we need to like at the end of the half

Half time. 1-1.

Disappointing to give up such a preventable equalizer but we have every chance to win if we keep playing like that.

Vinagre, N'Diaye, and Jota the best of the lot so far.

Half-time.

On Saturday it always felt like there was an extra gear we could have kicked up into if we needed to, and until we conceded here, this game was almost exactly the same until those last five minutes or so when we managed to put a decent amount of pressure on - would have been nice to get ahead again for the whistle went but I think we're going to come out fast at them, they're really very wobbly at the back IMO.

Brilliant Jota shot brilliantly saved - out to Leo but wide

Possibly should have done better with that chance

25 yards out ... what an outrageous attempt. Curving and swirling in the wind and rain, their keeper nearly shat himself wondering what to do with it...

Make no mistake we are the better side, the goal was their only shot on target which took a deflection and went in but we must clear better than that poor stuff. N'dayie is class really mobile has bite in his tackles and a good range of passing we have serious competition in midfield now.

Cav looking dangerous but need to see more of him.

Bonatini could have had a 2nd just before half time but fired narrowly wide.

Need to put this to bed.

Sounds like we're playing very well again, no need to panic just come out fast in the second half and get that second goal.

What wind and rain? I am two miles from the ground and it is now pretty still and the drizzle is minimal

I just stood outside to check. It is barely blowing and the rain is barely worth talking about

Bristol are a good test for us here but we've played well overall and are unlucky not to go in a goal up.

Bonatini has been superb so far.

I've defended Bonatini on here in the past as he has a decent record for us already but this being my first time watching a match live since Leicester I have to say I don't think he's anything like the answer if this is a representative performance from him.

Ok. But unless you're stood in the centre circle at Molineux it's irrelevant. Bloody hell, Pad!

Don't wish any success for Blues but would be happy for them to pull Leeds back to a level score tonight

The Jota shot was outrageous he's so talented.

Must be an isolated tornado then...

This "storm" is missing Wolverhampton by fucking miles. Might get feisty after the game but for now it is calm (ish) over the city.
