Well, at least it was an enjoyable watch. That's more than I can say for 90% of the last 2 years.

People will laugh at this, but i have to agree in the sense that the players have tried and they’ve battled (apart from Semedo). But we have a lack of quality all over the park and we are in big trouble. The fact we went up to 15th when we were briefly winning shows how tight it is - so with some proper investment in the squad and Julen in charge, hopefully we have enough to stay up.

We played with a handicap for 45 minutes (or more, if you want to be really unkind to Nelson) and lost to a good team by the odd goal. No need to be suicidal over that.

There's an obvious lack of cohesion and tactical plan at the moment but that's what the manager will be for.

Of course its not as bad as some think, some proper hysterical comments today. The players aren't as bad as recent times look. We desperately need the new coach, pity it's taken so long.

B.Traore was phenomenal. Didn't deserve to be on the losing side today. Guedes was good aswell, the rest worked hard but lacked quality.
