Brighton (A) Match Thread

Seeing that he didn't have a pre season, I'd give Zenga a whole season with a serious review after Christmas.
All this bollocks about no win after 6 or 7 just tires me out.
Give the bloke a $#@!ing chance

Don't think the Chinese investors will see it that way

All this money spent on attacking talent yet we are criminally short of an attacking threat

They may not be great, but why aren't we seeing more of Silvio, B-Jackson and John ? Yet we still keep picking Batth, Edwards and Doherty !

Last 9 in the league. W2D2L5. Lost 3 of the last 4. Picks players out of position, sets up negatively, teams continue to start slowly and when are on top don't turn pressure into (enough) goals. Record club signing yet to have a run of games in his favoured position.

If he's under pressure it's because he bloody deserves to be.

Forget any Idea of promotion this season. We are already a country behind tonight's Victor's. Zenga will be lucky to see Christmas in the Midlands..

So little threat tonight. Not really sure what the plan is. Happy to see this Zenga 'experiment' put to bed to be honest.

I quite like Zenga - an engaging personality, but not sure that there is any plan for taking us forward.

Selections/formations seem just too random (& playing only half of each game is not a winning formula)

Can't see Fosun being happy with that or prepared to accept it.

Big money spent and sitting 15th. Zenga must be shitting it. His selections are all over the place just now.

I don't see how anybody can disagree with this. I think many have said that he's a nice bloke and there has been a lot of change but it isn't good enough at the moment and i can't see Fosun hanging around. Saturday is a massive game and i think he needs to win.

Saturday is definitely a must win. The world of Wolves changed in the summer and I don't think patience will be in great supply. We need to be in contact to then invest further in January. At the moment that is looking pretty unlikely. Walter needs results and he needs them PDQ.

Like many fans I'm hoping he does well and can turn this around, but not sure that Fosun will be so patient.
At this rate, he'll be back in Dubai permanently topping up his tan by the end of November.

We can't keep chasing games, it's getting ridiculous now. Even most of the games we've got points from we've had to come from behind.

Unfortunately I think you're right. I'd bin Thelwell too as we look like we need a new approach if we aren't progressing and he's part of the ongoing failure.

That was poor tonight. Conceding yet again in the first 15 minutes, no real attacking threat, too many "to me, to you" passes with no real clue as to what to do next. Very little off the ball running and actually a 0-1 defeat could be seen as a let off. Brighton weren't really at the races and perhaps, for us, that was a good thing.

I wasn't overwhelmed by Zenga's appointment in the summer and am pretty certain that he will be moved on by the end of the season.

On a positive, I got the last parking space in the Travelodge tonight :)

Meh, so give Zenga 14 games and then bin him? then what?
Give the next manager 14 games and then bin them too?
The team was rushed together just before the season and i dont think some of the players are fully fit to be honest and i think WZ knows that too...(Ivan C for one)
To be honest, im just glad we have a manager that makes bloody substitutions.

He's been here over 6 weeks, the length of a preseason. How can he possibly not be fit!? Especially when coming into the squad he would have already done some form of preseason.
