Brentford (H) 20/12: Build-Up & Match Thread

Brentford have lost 7/8 away games and are still going to comfortably beat us

Still 5 at the back, still JSL and Hwang.

Interesting to see Sa and Lopez back in and Gonzalez on the bench. Hopefully Mane gets decent minutes

Gone from being pleased Johnstone has finally been dropped, to worried Sa is starting in about 0.3 seconds. It's a horrible existence being a Wolves fan.

Sa, Hoever, Hwang and JSL, Edwards needs to get in the sea.

Pleased to see Lopez get a start and also pleased my train got cancelled, so won't be back home in time to watch our inevitable defeat.

Any positivity from J Shi going has been wiped out by that selection.

Not doing himself any favours with the fanbase thats for sure.
Tbf he's stuck between a rock and a hard place with defensive options but that front line is just unbeievable.
Sa or Johnstone, meh, nothing to choose between them and at least Sa is less likely to throw a high ball in his own net.

tbh, it’s not like there’s much other options.

I’d have gone back four though with the injuries etc - bueno and Krejci actually did *ok* as a pair in a back four before together.

Sa far more likely to let any shot on target go straight in, as he's done in any game he's played this season.

I’m at Bath city v Salisbury, apparently the young GK for Bath is quite good…

Don't think he'll last long if he keeps picking the same shape and crap players. If Edwards did have an agreement about staying in charge next year surely it was with Jeff and not Fosun.

He's slightly less of an imposter and probably a nicer fella, but Edwards is as much Shi's man as Jackson

Whilst this is true. Johnstone is also costing us far too often and doesn't particularly make saves around that. I understand moving to Sa as he has at least been the standard of a Premier League keeper, if they can snap him out of whatever is going on in his head. Johnstones best year in this league was being POTS for a relegated side.
