The problem is both as the same refs run VAR, you can't distinguish one from the other. Inept on and off the field

Just a line of 5 with a line of 4 in front of it. Offering nothing offensively and not holding on to the ball, bar a sustained 5 minute period (where we didn’t create anything).

Simple, ref gives decision on field VAR backs it up. Ref doesn't give anything VAR does nothing. Because that's what VAR does

Logical thing to do in this situation is to simply ask the ref to take a look on the basis that he gave a red card for a comparable incident less than ten minutes earlier, setting a precedent for the rest of the game in doing so....but no......Im sick and tired of being on the wrong end of decisions from a system run by incompetent twats.
