Brentford (A) 16/03: Build-Up & Match Thread

Without excusing Yerson, I find this to be a pretty astonishing position. C'est la vie.
What’s astonishing? At grass roots levels you don’t have coaches telling you what to do? It’s normally your mates dad running it and then at adult level you probably don’t have a “coach”! But you’d still know you don’t just let their LW be in on goal in the left channel.

Might be worth swapping Hugo over to the right and bringing Wolfe on. Bueno not getting much joy on the left, they're just blocking the touchline and forcing him inside.

Armstrong is an absolute work horse

Jackson is one of the most fustrating players I've seen in a Wolves shirt

They seem to be committing a number of fouls without any bookings !!!
Jackson always takes too much time before crossing

Glad someone said this. Can’t understand why Hugo isn’t on the right on the regular. His goal was from bringing it center from the right after he was over there to take a corner. The only things he does on the left are step-overs and crosses to no one.

Time to bring Tolu on?
Absolutely amazed he’s not on already. They look nervous and all over the place at the back. We all know he’d create something.

We’re going down and we are losing 2-1. What’s the point in leaving him on the bench?

Shite from Edwards.

Tchatchoua casually passes to Brentford when we are attacking. From Semedo to this 😢
I've never known a player offer so little at either end of the pitch. If he gets the ball it's either a) a back pass, b) a woeful cross to nobody/the goalkeeper, or c) a pass to the opposition. And his defensive work is largely backing off and not stopping crosses or playing people onside.

Typically once a game he makes a good tackle covering back but that aside he looks like a pub player.
