From what I saw, I think Fury would dominate AJ. That's a volte-face on my previous opinion. Fury may just be the best. And you can't leave Wilder out of the conversation. It would be great to find out but of course the sanctioning bodies are already dropping mandatory challengers into the equation to fuck up a unification bout.
Fury 'says' He's got a contract with Wilders signature on, and the only thing that could complicate that was a Ruiz win ,and they'll square off in February. Joshua's got to keep busy and keep winning until at least that's settled, with an Undisputed, Lineal World Title up for grabs if he can in a years time. The Ruiz Trilogy would seem like a soft option to achieve that, but I really hope it doesn't happen and like you say, the WBC are in a current pickle with their No1 Contender situation. Dillian Whytes been No1 contender for almost 2 years. he's now been exonerated after a false positive drugs test and he is owed a title shot. Fighters have been paid to step aside before, but Saturday showed he's not the kind of guy to step aside for anyone. It might be we're looking at early 2021 for the fight everyone wants to see. Wilder -fury 2 is a step forward but unfortunately it's still a far from clear road to a single Champion.
