Jarrell Miller, Joshua's next opponent has failed a drug test and lost his licence, with 15k tickets already sold for their fight.

Good. A mickey mouse fight nobody wanted.

The way the promoters have conducted themselves the last few months has been appalling. The division was shaping up to be the most exciting we've had for 30 years and they all swerve eachother to make easier money elsewhere. Who the fuck is Fury fighting FFS? Can only assume Wilder and Joshua have ducked him as he's always had a reputation for fighting anybody anywhere. The fights people want to see are between AJ, Fury and Wilder. Even a rematch with bloody Whyte would have been better than Miller.

Miller is arguably the best of a bad bunch available from all the top 10's. He needed an American opponent in New York.

It's not the first time it's happened,Lewis/Bowe Holyfield/Tyson and as soon as different tv networks get involved it gets worse. The top 3 will dance around for a while longer, but eventually the WBC should force Wilder into his rematch with Fury at least

And Joshua will have to fight one of the others as Fury is the only one who can say he's undisputed and the greatest. That must grate on the other two.
 
Miller would have been a punch bag for Joshua, he has no movement - just a come forward plodder for him to pick off.
 
Have you seen who else is in the top 10's across the board? It's not a pretty sight. Apart from the top 3 its a pretty poor division at the moment.

Kownacki and Ortiz are better fights than Miller.

He was outclassed, but that was a definite low blow and i'm not convinced it was accidental. I've seen fighters dq'd in that situation where an opponent can't continue, but not an american champion at MSG.
 
Luis Ortiz will not replace Jarrell Miller as world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua's opponent on 1 June, the Cuban's promoter has said.
 
Hearn wasn't ever going to take that fight. He's never going to put AJ in a high risk, low reward situation
 
They need to get this right or AJ's going to look like a clown in the mecca of boxing
 
Still slimmer than Tyson Fury then.
