Shame that, Bellew looked like he struggled to make the weight. Not that impressed by Usyk, he should stay at cruiser.

Wilder V Fury predictions?

Wilder in 5.

If it goes the distance then Fury.

Fury looks in reasonable enough shape for once, the concern with him really is that he hasn't had anything like a serious fight in three years, the two he's had in 2018 weren't worth the bother and did nothing for him. I certainly don't like him on a personal level and he's dull as shit to watch, but on a technical level he is streets ahead of Wilder who is just a slugger with virtually nothing of value on his CV.

Wilder's always going to have a chance because if he catches you, he hits very hard, but Fury should be able to pick him off with ease. Every single round he'll leave himself wide open multiple times and get outpointed.

Spot on DW. If Fury stays In there he wins. If he’s in any decent shape, not just physically but mentally and technically as well, I don’t think Wilder gets near him and he out boxes him for 12 rounds and takes the cards comfortably. Wilder has a “punchers chance” and because Fury is likely out of Knick he might get one in.

Wilder will destroy him

I don't think so. Wilder will come out swinging and is too wild (excuse the pun) with his punches. Fury, despite his obvious floors, is a very clever and awkward boxer and I just don't see Wilder getting that big punch in. Of course, anything can happen and Fury has lost a lot of weight (including muscle) so he might tire quickly; so I guess he could easily get caught - but Wilder certainly won't "destroy him".

I'm hoping for a Fury win. That would set up AJ/Fury which would be massive - probably at Wembley next year, but I do worry that maybe this fight has come a little too soon for Fury.

If Wilder loses this then I suspect we'll never get to see the AJ/Wilder fight and instead, he'll end up taking the winner of Whyte/Chisora.

AJ will probably go down the route of the winner of Wilder/Fury and then end up fighting Usyk, once he's had a couple of testers at heavyweight.

The division is great at the moment.

If Wilder catches Fury he then destroys him. As you all say, the question is whether Fury gets caught.

All depends on Fury's shape which the weigh in with tell us. If he's a large bag of blubber like his last two fights he'll be a punchbag and eventually get caught by one punch too many in the mid rounds. If he's in peak shape then he should jab his way to victory.

Fury will win, much better boxer. It's true he's not been active against top opposition but until he fought Klitschko he didn't really have any good names on his record anyway. Wilder is always dangerous because of the power but his style is weird. He throws punches very wildly and against someone as good as fury he will get picked off.

Fury will win he’s a very clever and smart boxer. He’ll out score Wilder on points and that’ll be the end result

Fury is 6 foot 9". I would hazard a guess that Wilder hasnt fought many as tall or taller.

But Wilder can punch.

The division is great at the moment.

There's a fair amount of intrigue but then on the other side of the coin you have Whyte, Chisora, Hughie Fury and Parker all knocking around the upper echelons of the rankings (Parker even held a belt for a while), and they're all really shit.

Del Boy for instance is nearly 35 and has lost three of his last seven fights, how is he getting this kind of shot? He's never been even close to world class.

Joshua, Wilder and Fury obviously stand out as the top 3 guys in the division. Then there is a drop off to the next batch of fighters but i'm not sure that's ever been that different. Even in mid - late 90's you had Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson and then there was a drop to the next level of boxer.

Some of the prospects now are a joke though, Jarell Miller is terrible
