Bournemouth (H) 18/2: Build-Up & Match Thread

I guess it depends what you find impressive. They make a decent noise at home, even in nothing games. Away from home they are the same irrelevance they've always been and just chant Eagles, Eagles every now and then.

I'm not the man for any contrived engagement, goal music, flag waving, organised chanting or bands. If you are Palace do it well

I just remember them handing out song sheets, not really the sort of thing that gives you street cred I imagine.

I can see half of those being - "ooo, free flag!?" - *clicks*

Can anyone advise me on where to park? Also, is it far into the centre of Wolverhampton?
To be fair am up for Bournemouth so might be asking the same question myself.

For years parked in Griffin Street on the A454 and walked half an hour to avoid the traffic in and out, but turned up for the Southampton game to find someone’s had the audacity to stick double yellows and restrictions there.

Hey-ho, nothing lasts forever ☹️

If its done well like at Dortmund, then it can look amazing.

Waving a few flags though, sounds shit.

Not exactly related to the match itself but I'm not sure where else to post!

I'm going to Molyneux for the time time on Saturday, taking my 6 year old son to his first match.

Various places to park. Around the West Park which is approx 10 to 20 mins walk (depends which part of it you park on). You can park in Whitmore Reans. Park at the bottom of Lowe Street (a dead end, and where i live) and it's a 20 min walk up Newhampton Road, or you can walk up Molineux alley, pop into the Stile for a pint, and be at the ground in 5 mins from there. Just check on Google maps.

Absolute horseshit. Just play well and the atmosphere will be generated. At least the club got rid of the goal music for the last home game which is a massive step in the right direction!

I think the tape rotted due to lack of use.

Jeff has now spent big on a new iPod though, so back if we score tomorrow...

Not much from the presser. Podence "closer" to being fit but that doesn't sound like he'll feature tomorrow. No other issues apart from the ones we already know about (Hwang/Bouba/Chiquinho/Sasa).

Hopefully we get to see Neto from the bench tomorrow

Unless they did it twice, pretty sure it was for QPR on the day we secured promotion. I was there that day and it was a total damp squib, no-one sang it, was totally weird

Maybe I'm getting confused but I thought the impossible dream thing was against Doncaster last game?
Doncaster was the day of the flags. We all got given a little flag to wave when the team came out

Organised crowd involvement never works with us (except maybe Hi Ho Wolverhampton, but that’s been going on for years).
Must admit I quite enjoyed the brass band marching down the side of St Mary’s playing When the Saints etc..but I guess we’re better off left to our own devices.
When Molineux is rocking it’s both genuine and inspiring for the players
