He’s not through on goal! He’s 20 yards out and can’t take it any further or he gets tackled, hence why he takes the shot.

You narrow the angle down if they are through one v one, but 20 yards out it still needs something soecial to go in. Hence the xG of 0.15. It wasn’t special, it was right down the middle, but your also for some reason ignoring him standing miles off centre so he’s diving to palm away a shot straight down the middle. So even in some bizarre world where being 14 yards off your line from a long range shot is the correct position off your line, being 3 yards off centre isn’t!
