I lived for a few years in nearby Den Haag and to say I was gobstruck when I first read about this completely ridiculous thought pattern is the understatement of the century. I simply couldn't believe it.... at all. In fact, it was very similar in crass stupidity to sending gunboats to the Channel Islands but worse. How on earth did these wild thoughts get beyond the first person to hear them responding with mirth and then a riposte like, 'What have you been taking?', thus summarily ending it.
It quite simply sums up the concept of 'The Other' for tories. Fuck the world, I just want, deserve, and will get, and with completely zero interest in the consequences. We can just imagine what he would do if anything arose in, say, Africa.
Mindblowing...... but covered up by the mass media. A quick search on, for example, the BBC website reveals nothing.
