Paterson - Worst of all was seeing people, including MPs, publicly mock and deride Rose’s death and belittle our pain.

I listened to the debate yesterday and all contributors to it expressed nothing but sympathy for his wife's death. If he is tarnishing his fellow MP's with such an accusation then he should name and shame them.

Seems that the current crop of Tory MPs really do believe they can do what they want and brush it under the carpet if they get found out. If Paterson's wife's mental health was deteriorating due to the investigation Paterson had the option to get it done and dusted very quickly but he dragged it out despite pretty overwhelming evidence that he'd lobbied in a way the rules say he shouldn't. The fact he kept saying black was white for years certainly can't have done anything to help his wife so if he's looking for anyone to blame I suggest he take a long, hard look in a mirror.
