He was being interviewed as to why he thought ending a birthday message with "Up the RA" was acceptable. Mind you he did get paid so it's all ok...

So long as MPs get off with practically no sanction for corrupt behaviour they’ll continue to act above the law and the public’s contempt for all politicians will grow. It’s almost as if they want the public to disengage from any interest in politics so they can con them with a few sound bites every election.
