Blackpool (H) build up

Jamie O'Hara is a former Wolves player who has now moved on, his return to Molineux should pale into insignificance compared to the emotional scenes that will undoubtedly accompany the clubs tribute to Sir Jack. Though of course O'Hara will fire a thirty yard thunderbolt into the back of our net...!

I'm in the North Bank again, so glad I'm going to be there for this.

Will do Mike - aiming for the early train up so should be in Wolverhampton around 11.15am. Will be going back straight after the game so as to get the best return journey with minimal changes & have reserved seats wherever possible to guarantee I don't have to stand.

I will be arriving at the station around the same time. I can carry you if you want?

Im sure John De Wolf was due to be guest of honour at this match.

Not sure he was a Guest of Honour, just in the UK so coming to a game kind of guest

According to the stadium plan Steve Bull Upper sold out now (although I don't think J1 & J10 were ever on sale?) so now just Steve Bull Lower, Billy Wright Lower and a few in Billy Wright Upper.

J1 and J10 were on sale for the U21 game so they are available, but I think they might be under banners on Saturday. I am hoping we see a well populated Steve Bull lower, but it is still reasonably sparse.

Looking to be a good crowd on Saturday

Just one request.....North Bank ....try to sing if only for Jack

Just one request. Concentrate on what you want to do at the game rather than what others are doing xx

KJ talking about Dicko's back problem again for the reason for being on the bench over the last couple of games, Afobe maybe to start?

I will be in there & it has filled up a reasonable amount since I booked yesterday. Centre sections fairly well filled though still sparse towards the ends.

Hopefully more will go before kick off

#Wolves are expecting at least 27,000 for the Blackpool game tomorrow as the club and city prepare to honour Sir Jack Hayward.

Wolves take on Blackpool at Molineux and a huge crowd is expected to pay tribute to the much-loved 91-year-old, who died earlier this week.

Sir Jack’s son Jonathan will be joined on the pitch by Steve Bull and Rachael Heyhoe Flint for a minute’s applause before kick off.

His long-time companion Patti Bloom and several former Wolves players and managers – including Graham Turner, Dave Jones, Ron Flowers, Andy Thompson, Jody Craddock and John De Wolf – will also take to the Molineux turf to remember Sir Jack.

And supporters in the Steve Bull Upper Stand will be asked to hold cards aloft which makes special Sir Jack mosaic.

The Wolves Fan Zone has been transformed into a tribute to Sir Jack with a special 'life in pictures' display and a place where Wolves supporters can sign a special book of remembrance – which will be presented to Sir Jack's family at a later date.

Wolves will open their museum free of charge to give fans the chance to see tributes to Sir Jack including his place in the Wolves Hall of Fame.

Chief executive Jez Moxey said: "We've been inundated with tributes to Sir Jack from thousands of people at home and abroad but none more so than from the extended Wolves family.

"Saturday is about them, and the entire city of Wolverhampton, coming together to celebrate his life and to say an appropriate 'thank you’.

“We’ve been contacted by thousands of fans who will be making a special effort ‘to wear Old Gold and Black for Jack’ and to bring Wolves flags and banners – I know he’d be thrilled, and humbled, at the efforts fans are making to honour him in this way.

“We’d like to say a special thank you to our fan volunteers who are busy creating a special mosaic in the upper Steve Bull stand.

“Fans in the upper Steve Bull will be asked to hold their cards aloft during the minutes’s applause to help create a special visual backdrop to this emotional occasion.

"Although, understandably, there will be some tears the Wolves family will create the type of atmosphere Sir Jack so much loved to soak up before kick-off - a full house at Molineux, a sea of old gold and black and the stadium in full voice to inspire the team to victory.

“Let us all play our part in making Saturday a positive uplifting occasion for the ‘Old Boy’, Sir Jack Hayward – let’s do it for Jack."

A special 100-page matchday programme with more than 20 pages of Sir Jack tributes will be on sale on the day.

Anyone who doesn’t get a chance to sign the book of remembrance before the game will be able to do so next week.

There is limited capacity in the museum and fans are asked to call the ticket office to book a place.

Don't fook it up Steve Bull Upper!

Does anybody know when it all starts? Want to give myself plenty of time to get there.

Sure I read the stuff was going to start at around 2.30 but I may have imagined that so don't my word as gospel

You can take it as gospel

Email from Wolves

Tomorrow’s match has taken on a much different significance following the death of Sir Jack on Tuesday. The game will now be a celebration of Sir Jack’s life and a ‘thank you’ for everything he did for the Club and the City of Wolverhampton. Please scroll down the email for links to some of the thousands of tributes which have been paid this week.

There are a number of activities planned in tribute and if you’re attending the game we would ask that you enter the ground as early as possible and for fans collecting tickets, please ensure you leave enough time to be in your seats for 2.30pm. We’re expecting close to a full house but there are a few tickets left which can be bought online here or by calling the Ticket Office on 0871 222 1877.

The Wolves Fan Zone has been transformed into a tribute to Sir Jack with a special 'life in pictures' display and a place where Wolves supporters can sign a special book of remembrance, which will be presented to Sir Jack's family at a later date. There will also be the opportunity to sign a special Wolves flag in memory of Sir Jack.

If you’d like to visit the Wolves Museum before the game we are offering free entry for this day only. Tickets must still be booked with the Ticket Office or at the Megastore and are subject to availability. The Museum will be open from 9am for anyone wishing to take up the offer.

Lastly everyone at the club would like to say a huge thank you the thousands of supporters, right across the football divide, who’ve sent messages of condolence following Sir Jack’s passing. There is a special commemorative programme available for this match with a 20 page tribute, including some of the many heartfelt messages we’ve received at the club over the last few days.

We hope to see you at Molineux tomorrow for what will be a fitting tribute to Sir Jack.

Thanks, as always, for your support.
