Byrne is looking far better than he did last week - looks dangerous.
Williamson looks very solid so far, great communication from him - hopefully Batth can pick up a few pointers!
Iorfa - running out of superlatives for this kid, quick, strong and can play a bit!

Brum had a strong spell before half time, hopefully we can control the ball a bit more in the second half and get Afobe a bit more involved, he looks a little isolated so far.

One incident when Gray was on the run and Henry turned to chase and lost his footing a bit then this flash of Old Gold as Iorfa devoured the ground to catch up with Gray and comfortably marshall him off the ball.
As Gray leaned over the advertising barrier getting his breath back you could see his face as he recognised his afternoon was just about at an end...
Well, as long as Iorfa has anything to do with it...

I've always been banging on about this, but this 'captain's role' of moving around at the back talking to his players, encouraging, bollocking whatever, Batth might be doing it, but it's nowhere near as evident as it is with Williamson.
Lining everyone up, 'mark him', 'move over here', 'cover him' and all of that good stuff.
Love to see that.

Quick comment on the ref, Batth doesn't even make contact with their lad and he goes down after he's lost the ball - free kick to Birmingham on the edge of the box. We go up the other end and Byrne is kicked up in the air - nothing.

He's not exactly had a lot to do, but when he has, I haven't been impressed with the referee at all.
