Dawson has been much worse than Bueno the last few times he's played. Dreadful distribution and his reactions are shot when the ball comes into the box and hasn't tracked runners either.

I won't use the word coward as it triggers people so choose your own descriptor, but at least Dawson isn’t one of those. As I said earlier I don't think it really matters who we put there other than Agbadou - Dawson, Bueno, Toti, Semedo, Doherty, RAN. None of them are good enough. Toti has the redeeming characteristics of pace and left sided balance though which gives him the edge on the rest.

Maybe, but at this stage of the season we have to play our best players available.
I think the team I posted gives us that, although as YW said you could swap RAN and Rodrigo positions.

I love RAN when he is on his game, but sadly he isn't lately.

I don't think Bueno isn't trying? He just isn't very good.

Same with Doherty, I think his attitude has been really good this season, one player who seems up for it, unlike so often in the past. You just have to see how passionate he is when he scores. (He just isn't great)

On our corners, it is frustrating that a number have gone into the side netting lately.

However, we scored direct off one, had one disallowed against Newcastle and scored with another against Chelsea.

That's pretty good going in a few games given how we never usually manage a goal from corners for long, long periods. I feel we should persist.

I don't think Bueno isn't trying? He just isn't very good.

Depends how you defend trying I suppose. I don't think he doesn't challenge for headers or fail to make tackles where he could get hurt, or press the man with the ball because he can't be arsed. He doesn't do those things though which are all freebies and not talent related. He's a South American centre half who is scared of contact, only we could sign one of those.

I don't mind if Cunha tries to score in the far corner, as anything underhit still gets into the 6 yard box. But his persistent trying for the near post against Chelsea was frustrating even if he did manage to make it work once.

It was but there was a very clear intention to hit a specific area, which we eventually scored from. It’s just annoying to watch when it goes wrong.

We’ve scored from 3 set pieces under Vitor now? One well worked (and we tried quite a clever one in the first half against Chelsea too) and two from corners targeting the goalkeeper in a certain way. So there is some thought behind it at least, which I couldn’t say before

We have so so so many players that I wish never played for Wolves ever again. It means that largely whatever combination you put out has some glaring issue somewhere.

Bueno, Doherty and Guedes are just awful footballers so please keep them well away from the starting XI.

I know 343 is Vitor's "thing", but I don't see why we can't change it up? 343 - we still concede a shit-tonne of goals. It's all bunkum either way - 442 clears some of the weaker links suc as Doc/Santi/Guedes - I've put Lima on the RW just to run at them and try and swing some crosses in for Larsen. Which never happens. But at least he'd have an instinct to track back and help Samedo. Same with Gomes - you could switch him and RAN around....
