Arsenal (A) 2/12: Build-Up & Match Thread

Wasn't Rodri done the next day to try and validate it then the rule was promptly forgotten?
The only Rodri sending off I remember is when he grabbed MGW around the neck, but you could well be right.

It was Diaz, Lemina's was a second yellow, so the same punishment with different consequences. It lasted a week as these things do. In our first game this season Neto got booked for waving a card and RAN for a (not particularly) slow throw in, both of those have now been binned

"Rayan rolled his ankle. We're hoping it's not too serious, but it's one of those that you carry on with once the pain settles down.

"But also, depending on how painful it is, it can drag on a bit longer than we would hope. It depends on Rayan and how quickly he can recover from it. He'll miss tomorrow, but we're hopeful he can play a big part next week."

"Pedro is back on the grass doing some running. It's going well, but he won't play this Saturday.

"We're hopeful of getting him back with the group fairly soon. There's no date set on it but we're getting closer and Pedro's excited."

I get the impression that Pedro is always excited, that's just his character :)

Good news that RAN isn't out until after Christmas like we feared.

Hope Hugo is fit enough to play 90. Just start him v Arsenal and see how long he can manage.

Doc against Saka could be interesting.

Wonder if GON might go with Toti at LB and play Santi again?

I thought Santi was okay for being as quick as Gorkss.

I dont remember Santi having any real glaring errors (apart from him and Kilman running into one another at one stage). Tbf Fulham were shocking in attack.

Yes, unfortunately Raul isn't much of a measuring stick. The only clear thing is he is very slow so had better be a decent reader of the game

Gotta really weird feeling Fabio starts today, or at least with get a decent amount of game time.
Wouldn't be surprised if Fabio got some time today, ineffective as he is as a striker, our forwards will be doing a lot of chasing, Sasa simply can't do that.

Makes me laugh seeing the outrage from other teams (Newcastle, Arsenal) when they get 1 bad VAR call and we’re all sitting here looking at about 7 now
