Arsenal 2-1 Wolves Verdict Thread 13/12/25

Numpties on SM concluding that the fan base is the problem because we put in 2 brave efforts in our last 2 away games.
We lost both games you clowns,
So they’re brave and courageous when expected to be beaten but then turn into quivering wrecks when they’re expected to perform and pick up points?

From what I've seen from others that either went to or watched the game, it sounds like Larsen put in as much effort as a new born baby.

Wasn't that agbadou's last game until afcon is over?
Means the backline needs redesigning.

The fan base.😂 If only it were that simple.

Let’s not overplay Brentford. They’re a completely different team at home and away. Away they’ve won one, lost seven. It’s one of our best chance of a win this season and I agree with your proposed team. Play JSL and Hwang and we have very little threat and that will play into Brentford’s hands. I’d actually go to four at the back but RE seems to want a comfort blanket even though it provides no comfort.

Same was equally true of Forest after Villa.

A feature of Edwards at Luton was plucky losses against the top six:

Man City 1-2
Villa 2-3
Chelsea 2-3
Arsenal 3-4

There’s always some virtue signalling twats that want to blame fans when anyone with two brain cells knows the problems start and end with Shi.
Used to get this in the 90s after multiple promotion fuck ups. 'Molineux is poisonous. Just get behind the team.' If Molineux is poisonous it's not the fault of the fans. Maybe try not losing to Tranmere you useless pricks.

Yep likes of Charles Ross used to bang on about Molineux being toxic as being a big reason we struggle. It’s complete utter BS and it’s just offering an easy way out for crap players and underperforming players.
Dealing with pressure that’s real life unfortunately, using it as a smoke screen isn’t going to wash. It’s a distasteful excuse when your weekly wage is astronomical and you’ve probably earnt enough to live comfortably already and can escape come May if you want also.
Do most of us on here deal with far more pressing day to day pressure? Absolutely ie having families to support, performing at work to keep your job to keep a roof over your head etc
Yes the 2 scenarios aren’t comparable but don’t use pressure and expectations as a viable excuse ie know your audience

A long and expensive day which was fairly enjoyable up until the last five minutes. The novelty of getting home at 2.30am had definitely worn off though.

Johnny Phillips was in the away end, tried to peer pressure him into posing with a 'load of shi(t)' poster. He laughed and said he couldn't because it'd get him the sack but as he was walking away he gave a thumbs up and a 'wanker' gesture (at Jeff, not me).
Only saw a small pocket of the posters. Shame they didn't make their way down the front as when a corner was being taken they'd have definitely made it on to TV.

Yet again, I do think plenty of tickets find their way into the hands of non-Wolves fans. There does seem to be less friends & families of the players in attendance (who would blame them!)

When every away game goes on-sale there is always a large prime section of the best seats blocked out not for sale.

Due to constantly moaning about him, virtually everyone I work with that is into football wanted to speak to me about Sam Johnstone and how I was wrong for complaining about him, after his good game at the weekend. Several told me he made loads of good saves and had zero fault for either goal.

It does feel like this is my version of a sort of "pre-hell", before the main classic hell begins.

Arsenal according to stats had two shots on target, which I presume are the Rice shot and then another I cant recall, as presuming that neither goal is registering as a shot on target, and the freekick was off target from what I could tell, so not sure if that is counting. His keeping on that FK was fine though I would add.
