Why the fuck would you fry with olive oil? It's much better as a dressing as it's burning temperature is too low for frying.

Loads of people do. They see chefs using oil, and just assume as it's the healthiest oil they bung it in the pan. I used to do it too.
 
It's just not a good idea! The burning point is lower so you end up at great risk of making whatever you are cooking taste acrid.
 
Great episode but stupid timing.

The cynic in me says they knew they'd get the reaction and publicity over it.
 
Bit insensitive of the am dram group to pick that episode this week,but free publicity for them as well,and doubt that many people were outraged,and it was front page and more details on P2 of the E&S!
 
That did make me chuckle more than it should have :)
