How the fuck are reform 3x shorter than libdems? They'll be lucky to get 2 seats ffs

Doesn't matter really does it.

Cambridge will be way shorter than Hereford to win the FA Cup next season but you're throwing your money away either way.

Just finished the ITV debate. Why are neither Raynor nor Starmer just giving the message of "look, the tories have broken basically everything, and there's a lot that we want to change in a decade of renewal, but not all of it is going to be able to happen in the first few years"? Like they're actively allowing comparisons to the tories because they keep going on about fiscal responsibility, rather than just straight batting stuff that you basically know they'd ideally like to do

Farage gets the easiest ride of any party leader, so little scrutiny from the media for such a dangerous figure.

Being allowed to spout off on BBC Breakfast with so little challenge about how Rishi is one of the elite and he's a a patriotic man of the people.

Why does no commentator ever confront him with his Hitler Youth-singing past or the fact he's a fucking ex-public schoolboy millionaire himself? Beggars belief

I thought both presenters eviscerated him and his policies.

The sweat and discomfort on him was palpable, he was smashed to bits, particularly by Naga who brought up him being a millionaire and asked him several times about what he meant when he said Sunak doesn't understand our culture.

He's on 5live for an hour from 9 this morning. I hope that Nicky Campbell and the listeners pull him to pieces.

I missed the millionaire bit so fair enough, I thought he got out of the Sunak trap pretty easily though, and all the clips of the interview that are currently on repeat on the BBC just feature him confidently asserting his desire to be the official opposition and looking pretty legitimate and in control

Farage came through the 5Live discussion fairly unscathed. He's allowed to spout his net migration of zero nonsense virtually unchallenged, and he's also allowed to get away with no answer to how Brexit could be better, as he claims we have the wrong type of it.

It needs a Nick Robinson/Beth Rigby type to put the questions that he doesn't want to answer to him and expose him as the fraud that he is.

Not sure, just rage copied from Facebook.

Apparently the VAT charge will mean the schools won't be able to afford gardeners or catering staff.

EDIT
Quick search: It is of course, the Telegraph

I've seen plenty on SM raging that state schools will be flooded by former public students and they'll force out all the poor people leaving them nowhere to go.
Er, no...

I am in the middle of a pay negotiation with an Independent School. It is a very middling fee paying school, not an elite one by any means.

They argue that they have to cut their cloth because of the VAT rise. By cutting their cloth they mean reducing the value of staff pension and offering below inflation pay deals. This means they will be able to mitigate the fee rise for parents.

We are going to take industrial action, they will offer more money and they can cut their cloth somewhere else.

GBeebies misreprenting poll results? Surely not.

Go abroad mate to international schools although not the copy cat, money grabbing, cheapskate UK chain ones led by shallow and incompetent cap doffing bullies. Strange how so many of the wealthy independent schools can afford to open multiple branches all over Asia. The investment funds coming out of The City should be 'encouraged' to be put into UK state schools. Wave the flag? Fuck off.
