He was advised not to wear one wasn't he to avoid upsetting non English voters?
I don't believe this.

Raynor was wearing one, if this sort of thing was on their mind, he wouldn't have had a photo taken at all.

Was in the Mail so probably needs to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Visited my daughter in Thames Ditton yesterday in the neighbouring constituency of Esher and Walton, current MP Dominic Raab.

Previously such a safe seat but the Lib Dems have targeted it and going all-out. There are posters all over the shop.

Similar to here, Labour have no chance so it’s everybody in for a Lib-Dem pile on.

Cheerio Grayling and Raab. Going to be a mighty turnaround but it looks like it’s on.
Same here in true blue Guildford. I haven't seen a single Tory poster (or Labour) but Lib Dems are everywhere. It'll still be pretty close as the Guildford MP is pretty nondescript and hasn't done much to make herself personally unpopular.

I'm more aligned with the Greens politically these days, but getting the Tories out is the only thing that matters for now, nothing improves before that happens, so Lib Dems it is.

He's such an absurd looking weirdo, how come the media never pick up on that but they were happy to do so with Miliband, May and loads of others?

Is this limited to flat roofed pubs and will Nadine Dorries be involved?

Do these people not employ proof readers FFS? "I have proved" grates. Jeremy Hunt has also done a leaflet full of spelling and grammatical errors.

Farage claiming that saving 5% of Government spending is achievable and bangs on about quangos, government departments and working from home etc. What he isn't telling anyone is that the 5% saving is on all spending and that will include pensions, education, the NHS defence etc etc.
He also flits between it being a contract, that he knows that they won't have to deliver on it, its a pre-cursor to a proper run in 2029 to that its a serious, bold and radical plan. It is all nonsense and he managed to get away from the Q&A's without any scrutiny on it. He's a bullshitting bar steward, the media are giving him an easy ride and allowing his crap to feed into the psyche of people who just want to get their view of politics from short news clips and soundbites.

Love all these easy savings that blowhards like him bang on about. As if everything hasn't been already stripped to the bone since 2010.

No mention from him of the near £5bn we have spent on border checks since 2019, despite being told that Brexit wouldn't cost us anything.

Jesus. And that's after begging Farage not to stand a candidate in Dudley as Longhi is basically reform anyway, and *then* signing up to some weird pledge with Lawrence Fox

Gove must have spent years smoking some seriously bad shit…

“In this country, whoever we vote for in the end, the British people choose authoritative, sensible managers, whether from the left or the right.
