I'm having one of those days trying to pinch each way good things with Blue Lord and Abracadabras and they've both fallen. Probably should just back the horse i thinks going to win despite the price but that's not really my may of doing things.

That pretty much sums the day up, backed Black Tears last year and she got beat by Dame De Compagnie, thought it was good form and thought the form would hold up so backed DDC, she doesn't run a race and Black Tears wins. We live and learn.

I did have tiny bit each way for old times sake. Trevor Hemmings’ horses have done well for me this year. Galvin was my only other real world win, one I’ve been following all season. That’s another benefit of retirement, more time to study form.
