2018

Best moment might be right now as the final whistle goes at Turf Moor and we finish the year 7th in the Premier League

Bennett should get the unsung hero purely for his tackle on Willian in the Chelsea game - no idea how he got there that quickly and didn't concede a penalty as coming in that quickly so close to the goal was as likely to take the player rather than the ball.

Player of 2018 - Ruben Neves
Unsung Hero - Ryan Bennett
Best match - Spurs 1 Wolves 3
Best moment - the injury time chaos in Cardiff. Never seen anything like it before and never will again. And it effectively gave us the title
2nd Best Goal of 2018 (Neves is 1st) - Jota v Sheff Utd

make sure everyone sends their thanks to kanye

One of the worst years of my life, Wolves really put a shine into that. I’ve never loved this club more than I do at the moment, what a year.

Finishing the year in 7th with only the 'big 6' above us is outstanding.

No side below us has earned as many points in the last 5 games as us (nor have a couple above us).

Had thought that we could make a decent fist of this, but this is slightly unreal. Just need to keep going for the remaining 18 games & who knows what we can achieve.

Player of 2018: Matt Doherty. He's gone from someone I was hoping we'd replace to being one of my favourite players.
Unsung Hero: Ryan Bennett.
Best Match: Spurs, yesterday.
Best Moment: The full time whistle at Cardiff. It took me AGES to calm down. I still can't quite believe what happened.
2nd Best Goal: Jota v Sheffield Utd. I loved the Neves free kick v Everton too that got the ball rolling for this season.

What a year to follow the club.

The highlight, to me, would be the game against Burton Albion. Sure it was a clean victory against a much weaker side but it was my first Wolves live match at the Molineux.

Keen to repeat it too! Portuguese incoming

Player of 2018: Neves
Unsung hero: Barry Douglas - won more than a few games for us and at times dragged us back into games
Best match : Sheffield United at home - two wonderful goals and completely outplayed one of our rivals
Best moment : Bristol City away - that's when I really started to believe
2nd best goal : Neves Vs Sheffield United

Bristol was 2017 (just).

Player of 2018: Coady - what a transformation and really became the leader we needed
Unsung hero: Cavaleiro - always seems to make a difference for us
Best match: Chelsea 2-1 at home. Considering the 2 losses before this match it was a hell of a turn around
Best moment: Cardiff missing 2 penalties. Possibly the most emotional end to a game ive ever seen.
2nd Best goal: Neves vs Sheff United

Player of 2018 - Willy Boly.
Unsung Hero - Ryan Bennett.
Best match - Chelsea at home. We'd been on a poor run and this was the result that let the confidence flood back in and propelled us back to the point we are at now. Man City at home and Spurs away come close.
Best moment - Cardiff missing those two penalties. Was at the game and thought my heart was going to give out. Unforgettable experience.
2nd Best Goal of 2018 (Neves is 1st) - Jota vs Sheffield United, top team goal.

Best player Coady. Immense.
Unsung hero. John Ruddy. Mr clean sheet in the championship. Still an asset to the squad.
Best match. Spurs at Wembley. Incredible turnaround. And at Wembley.
Best moment. The Nuno grin
2nd best goal Doherty v palace.

I almost put that Burton game as my highlight. Such a fantastic day, I loved every moment of it.

I look back to the Bully era with great fondness, Cardiff 2003, promotion 2009, the Premier League years and coming back from the dead under Kenny but this year keeps on surpassing everything. Wolves finally look like the club we all wanted for so long and finishing in 7th spot as a newly promoted club is a great effort. We have players the like of whom we have not seen before and an iconic, charismatic manager in Nuno.

After years of shit and disappointment, now I can't stop smiling when I think of Wolves!

Player of 2018 - Conor Coady - Captain Fantastic, but you could name half-a-dozen players in this slot such has been the year we've had.

Unsung Hero - Ryan Bennett - Who would have though when we got him from Norwich he'd be part of the best defensive group we've had in my lifetime.

Best match - Spurs 1 Wolves 3 - There's been many games to consider but for sheer class of performance against a real top quality side and playing them off the park in the 2nd half (away from home) is a statement of real intent to the rest of the league.

Best moment - The injury time period at Cardiff - Never seen anything like it in any game before (Wolves or not). It effectively sealed the title.

2nd Best Goal of 2018 (Neves is 1st) - Jota v Sheff Utd. Marvellous team goal.

It was. The entire experience was amazing.

One of the highlights of my year, outside of football even.
