Yeah, we're a Swiss/German based group and the ethos is totally different. My ultimate boss in Switzerland is happy for us to make a modest profit so long as we provide a good service to our customers, treat our staff and suppliers well and maintain the reputation of the company.

Has anyone on here ever claimed the Guardian to be completely objective? Everyone agrees they have a liberal-left bias. The point that has been made repeatedly is that it doesn't knowingly print outright lies and gives quite a lot of space for opinion that doesn't match its own editorial stance.

Agree with pretty much all of this. I think the majority of people would use the time freed up by not being forced to work all the hours constructively and to the benefit of society as a whole.
