I really don't care about crappy little sideshows like this. It's football, not Eastenders.
I do care about us repeatedly leaving men totally unmarked at the back post off set pieces.
Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford, they've all lost key players at regular intervals.
They're all also in the top half of the league because they have employed better managers than Bruno Lage and Gary O'Neil.
Well I'd say it's on him that we're so mentally weak that we continually score and then concede again immediately after, throwing away the work we've just done.
If that's not his fault then what is?
Not much of a stretch to imagine we might have conceded off another set piece if that one didn't exist. Given that we've conceded more goals from set pieces at this stage of the season than any other team in the entire 32 year history of the Premier League.
Not a huge amount in the game but we probably kept the ball better and Joao missed the best chance of the half by a mile.
Not saying we were particularly special at any stage but I think it's a big stretch to suggest West Ham were comfortable winners. Johnstone has made one serious save I think.
We weren't bad tonight. We shouldn't have lost tonight. But this is what relegated teams do. They contrive to pull defeats out of a hat. They give away nonsense goals (for tonight's trick, how about leaving a heading machine completely unmarked?). They show no belief. They get no points.
We're...
HSV haven't appointed a new manager yet, they drew 2-2 with Darmstadt today. Good to see 2.Bundesliga is being totally normal as ever.
Six points between top and being in the bottom half.
Unsurprisingly it was an unsuccessful outing for St Pauli at Leverkusen yesterday. 2-1 but our goal only...
I stopped watching PGA Tour events in golf because some wanker would always bawl "mashed potato" for no reason every time someone drove off. Just tiresome.
I could never dislike him, he did look totally washed though. Wasn't even doing the basics right, I could excuse the goals drying up as we were a shite attacking team, but he was miles off it.
Didn't look much better for 80% of last season for Fulham either.
