I just think Traore is only ever going to be effective coming off of the bench, there's no doubting defenders worry when he's on the ball and back off a bit, but that's going to be more effective in the latter stages where concentration is slightly lost, whether that be because of energy being...
I always remember him from a few years ago when Luton put out their youth/reserve team out against West Brom in the checkatrade trophy and beat them, then obviously got a fine for not playing enough senior players. Impressive then and I've always kept a small eye on them since.
Ridiculous that they haven't done Nuno, but they've done Jokanovic, who'll probably be sacked in the coming weeks. Getting their use out of what they've created while they can I guess.
Last season West Ham were linked with Traore and my friends who are fans were really excited and I tried to bring them back down to earth by directing them to how poor his final ball is and his goals/assists in the prem. I simply can't get too excited now! But if Nuno see's something, then fair...
Might be a little harsh but I see Traore as a "MAX-Bright", pace and dribbling but very little end product to show for it, with him it's always seem a dangerous combination of poor decision making and poor technique with his final balls.
Got quite a few West Ham supporting friends, not one of them really spoke highly of him, overarching comment was "don't really know what his best position would be, or even what he's really good at".
I do wonder why Saiss plays there for Morocco - I have been impressed the few times I’ve watched them! Did he play there at all in his time pre-Wolves, or did the Morocco manager just see him a few years ago where he had a bit more timber and think “you look more like a centre-half to me”.
