    Bring it on....

Maybe I've met some but they've just not confessed to being Blues fans, can't blame them really ;)

    Bring it on....

I can only recall three times we've beat them since I've started supporting Wolves (1999): 2001, 2007 and 2011. 2007 was my favourite as we had no right to beat them, really.

[FA Cup 3rd Rnd Replay] Wolves 3-2 (AET) Brentford: Verdict Thread

We're a much more burly and aggressive team in general. Nuno's Wolves were always quite aggressive on the counter but the midfield - despite its many, many redeeming qualities - wasn't the most physical (but made up for it in other ways). Gomes and Lemina are genuinely quite terrifying. What's...

I have always disliked Blues a lot more than WBA and Villa. Not sure if it's an age thing (I'm mid-30s) but I can't stand them. I don't think I have ever met a nice Blues fan but I've met plenty of lovely WBA and Villa ones.

Mowatt seems to be their highest rated on FotMob (not that that's gospel, or anything).

Never forgiven Robinson for that. Kightly wasn't the same after it.

There won't be VAR for this game either, will there? Which could be a very good or very bad thing...

    Bring it on....

Ah yes I forgot Jed Wallace played for them. I always liked him here.

I'm not being THAT person, and it is absolutely a lack of knowledge, but I'm not sure who their danger players are? Thomas-Asante seems to be their main danger this season, but beyond that... It will be a difficult game by nature of their home record, home fans and their players will be...

    Bring it on....

Yeah, I seem to remember some murmurings when he did leave that the board had told him post-WBA at home, and he just saw out the rest of the season. If I remember right we hadn't won for about a month or two prior to that game, either. But WBA fans do peddle the "they were in Europe and we beat...

It was near the start of Nuno's "decline" as well. I say decline for want of a better phrase, something was clearly going on either internally at the club or internally within Nuno as he was parked on the bench for the majority of the game. The Nuno the season before wouldn't have been that...

[FA Cup 3rd Rnd Replay] Wolves 3-2 (AET) Brentford: Verdict Thread

I think we'll probably keep him for another year at least. I might just not be in the same footballing circles/algorithms as some of you but he doesn't seem to be a player of ours that opposing managers and fans pick up on. It's usually Neto.

[FA Cup 3rd Rnd Replay] Wolves 3-2 (AET) Brentford: Verdict Thread

Couldn’t agree with both of you more. He’s as important to this team and its success as Jimenez was to Nuno I think. Not sure if he’ll ever be a “free scoring” striker (not that Jimenez ever racked up a tonne, or anything) but the qualities he brings would be really difficult to find now - even...

The January 2024 "Will we actually sign a striker or just Che Adams/Kieffer Moore" Transfer Thread

Wolves have gotten away with it but shouldn't be lauded for any kind of master stroke, but I can understand why GON and the club are peddling that. It was irresponsible spending that got us into the mess of last summer.

[FA Cup 3rd Rnd Replay] Wolves 3-2 (AET) Brentford: Verdict Thread

Speaking of strikers and going back to the Cunha love, I've really, really warmed to him this season. I'm sure I read he now has 11 goal contributions in his last 10 games. I had my doubts when he signed and he never particularly set the world alight under Lopetegui - looked like another "we've...

My partner is an Albion fan, as are all his family. I'm not at hatred levels but I'd love a bit of bragging after the bragging I took for the 5-1 loss! He was gutted we won yesterday. He's terrified we're going to stuff 'em.

At least the VAR cameras for working for offsides this time 🤷🏻‍♀️
