I honestly think it’s very important that he’s going mask off. Yes, his base won’t care either way, but I’d guess that less than half of the people who voted for him are true MAGA diehards (which I accept probably sounds ridiculous from y’all’s perspective).

He’s doing a lot to directly or indirectly harm the people who threw in with him as a way to reject the political elite, and many of them are rejecting him now. Not that I have a great deal of my sympathy, but it’s better than truly half the country slurping him through everything.

The way he spoke to the governor of Maine was mind boggling. She stood up to him. It needs more people to stand up to him. He's a bully. Bully's can't deal with people who fight back. It exposes them.

I'd still be happy to see him dead though.
