Liverpool (A) 19/5: Build-Up & Match Thread

He wore 60 (the twat)
Don't think this one was his fault. Crazy Walt didn't give him a number as he wasn't fit at the start of the season, then we filled up loads of the 30s/40s through the autumn with kids playing in the EFL Trophy.

By January nothing sensible was free so we ended up with Williamson wearing 60, Weimann 63 and Marshall 64.

I got all bar one on the quiz and think it looks just like Saville! I'm at odds with myself today...

Saville had an orange skin underneath his shirt and no sweatband on his arm - Stearman did and was wearing 5.

Could be Stears, straggly mullet out of sight from the front view

Dortmund Lambo not understanding that playing in this manner at Anfield and getting a deserved win (despite conceding a lot of possession and territory out of choice) didn't mean that we should line up this way at Burton or at home to Zola's Blues.

Just hoping 'Jurgen Klopp, you're a wanker, you're a wanker' is heard throughout. Our parting gift to the big man.
“He’s left ‘cos you’re shit” is definitely getting an airing.

Out of interest, does anyone have any idea why players wear wrist tape?

I understand it for ankles, but wrists?
Lose count of the amount of times I’ve sprained my wrist landing playing football. Maybe I need wrist tape…

Klopp...

"It will be a tough atmosphere against Wolves, a strong team, the most unlucky team I have ever seen with VAR. They will want to finish on a high, we will prepare as good as normal.

I applaud those who speak out agreeing that we've been on the rough end of decisions. From his own live viewing there's been Toti's goal in the cup against them and Jonny being a gnats knacker offside for Nero's goal. It would be easy for him not to say anything.

I still absolutely refuse to believe that Neto was offside... even more so since I saw the VAR panel drawing the lines on the screen recently. The Toti one was also beyond belief. Cameras failed... at Anfield ... sure they did. Like most, I have refused to believe the corruption calls but it is quite clear that one team has suffered significantly more than double the times of the next team that has suffered the most. That is absolutely not right and makes a mockery of fairness.

No way we're getting anything out of Anfield this weekend. Just be glad when this season is done and the new season is here.
