I’m as cynical as most yet I appear to be one of the few that doesn’t hate Labour. Of course they could do better, think first to save u-turning later, Starmer is more a Foreign Secretary than PM but I think they’re trying to change things for the better but it would be hard with some spare cash, without it it is almost impossible.
Under Jezza the cranks flooded to Labour, and antisemitism became rife. Then they went to YP and the same happened. Now they've dived into the Greens and likewise.
Why arent political parties more aware that these people are completely toxic?
It's the lack of volunteers they get to stand, combined with a desire for a full slate of candidates, leaving a pretty wide door open for exploitation. I'd rather a robust process without a full slate personally.
