Leo miscontrols in the box, then the ball comes back out and Cav's cross directed toward him is deflected behind.

Leo kicks the ground and yells in frustration. He wants a goal badly.

Meanwhile, Alfred comes on for Saiss.

Apart from us winning - the other important fact tonight is Villa losing by 2 to QPR (which after beating us down there is the least they could do)

we're up 3-0, disappointed to see ndiaye and not mgw

Cardiff have spent less than Machin's bar bill to get to here. We've spent a lot and bought absolute brilliance. Warnock really has turned muck into gold.

Jota's injury aside, this couldn't have been more of a walk in the park.

Brentford should score.... But don't.

Stingiest of stingy complaints!

I'd expect Morgan to come on for Costa before FT.

10+ goal difference restored over villa to.

Villa's result helps turn our goal difference back round with regards to them too.

Got to love the Championship - totally topsyturvy at times.

+7 goal difference over Cardiff as it stands. + 10 over Villa

-edit- too slow for the hive mind :$

Neves another superb ball to Douglas - great save from the keeper to stop that going in

Neves is such a class act

Lightning fast break from Wolves after the Reading attack hits the ref, Neves hits a lovely ball at least 350 yards to Cav to Doherty but it's cleared then then Douglas has a slightly heavy touch to lose the next deadly attack.
Cav now involved with Neves in the next rolling attack....

Can't help but think Villa invested so much energy and time in the game against us at the weekend (and that includes all of the off field shite) that they've taken their next opposition for granted and it's come back to bite them in the arse. Lovely stuff.

Win against Burton at the weekend and things will be looking very rosy.

One positive from Cardiff also winning tonight is that it sort of breaks us and them away from the chasing pack a bit. Anyone's guess how that will impact the likes of Villa, Fulham etc.
