Wolves v Sunderland 02/05 - Build up and match thread

RE said Sa will be missing 'the next game or 2' as there's only 4 to go wouldn't be surprised if that's that.

Arsehole squad, RE says we have to consider how they were feeling last week, was a shock to their system this relegation coming out of nowhere poor little lambs. It is they who have 'played' us into this situation but they are just looking to fuck off somewhere else in the summer, it is us who will be left with the fallout of this mess

Don’t forget Rob stating that he left a “really good job, a really good role” to join us.

I think we should all be a little more grateful to him.

Bentley getting the chance to be our No1 for next season.

Like a new signing and all that jazz

Have we won any matches that Bentley has played?

Wasn't he in goal when we beat United 1-0 at OT last season?

Hard to believe that was a year ago, seems a lifetime ago now :(
Was also our last away win in the league!

(Rob Capello did beat Grimsby away so well done I guess)

This match is as tempting to watch as a Strictly Come Dancing final hosted by Adrian Chiles and Ian Huntley

Don't think I'll be bothering
Don’t know if it’s an age thing, or the current situation but I had to check who we was playing tomorrow when someone asked me this morning.

He was clapping the South Bank and throwing his shirt into the crowd at half time last week. Wouldn’t be surprised.

I'd have thrown it back at him, Johnson at Brighton style.

An absolute prick ever since he arrived here, a few good games here and there mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, he has cost us more points than he's won, he has produced some of the most inexplicable moments I've ever seen from a Wolves goalkeeper and his attitude is diabolical. And he directly succeeded Rui Patricio, it's like going from a table at Hawksmoor to one at Aberdeen Angus Steakhouse. They might superficially look similar but it's a ridiculous downgrade.

I don't fully share your overall view on Sa. He will land in the "meh" list of players but...

I have seen many a shit keeper play for us and many a dreadful performance but I doubt i will see anyone come close to Sa's non performance v Brighton in the Cup under GoN. He was in full on strop mode that he had missed out on a move (amazingly Chelsea tried for him) and what he did that evening should have been worthy of a contract cancellation.
