Feel a bit sorry for Arias. He’s got a low centre of gravity and keeps the ball a lot better than most of our squad, but he’s looked up so many times for someone to pass to and there’s just nothing.

He doesn't suit this style of team at all. He is a striker you want at the absolute top of the field. Ideally with players close to him. What we are doing with him is pretty much negligence of his strengths. Last year Semedo, Ait-Nouri and Cunha all progressed the ball forward which created space for him and pushed the line of attack/average position of him about 40 yards further forward than his position this season.

We just seem incapable of holding on to possession for more than a few seconds unless we’re passing it across the back line. And don’t you dare dream of a few minutes of sustained pressure at the Forest end. No chance.

We are properly, PROPERLY shit.

At least we’ve got a decent bench so can get those fresh legs on in the second half.
