Rodrigo should be back available, not sure if Agbadou will start straight away even though he's back training, but if he's fit he starts for me. Guedes apparently had a recent MRI scan so not sure about him.

Given our shortages up front I'd be starting Rodrigo at LWB and pushing RAN forther forwards.

Didn't realise Everton had so many injuries.

You really shouldn't rush back after a hamstring injury but if there's any chance Agbadou can play instead of Bueno then he absolutely should.

I thought they said he limped off. I'll add him in.

He took a penalty in the shootout :D

He could have limped off after that I suppose.

Listened to him on the Dave Edwards podcast and he said he was fit but don't know when that was recorded.
Larsen I'm talking about.

I wouldn't want Sarabia starting, so JRB in for him. Don't suppose it matters too much which one of Rodrigo/RAN is more advanced, as I think the two of them could be fairly flexible/interchangeable. Rest of the side picks itself based on who's available.

JSL needs a goal.

JRB is a weird one. He's better than I expected in the double pivot but against Fulham Vítor moved João Gomes into the right side 10 role to make room for him. If he's going to do that again then I'd rather see João in the pivot next to André and Sarabia on the right.

I getcha - I just don't like Sarabia. You might get one clever pass or nice bit of movement once a game, but the rest of the time he's a passenger.

Fair enough. I've defended him a lot but I think that's been because I've seen him play absolutely lights out for Sporting. I've been disappointed by what I've seen from him in a Wolves shirt so I won't argue with any Wolves fan who doesn't like him.

It doesn't seem to be the physicality or pace of the league either, especially when you see performances like the Villa home game. He just seems so much sloppier on the ball than he ever has at any other stage of his career. It's annoying, I've been waiting for years for him to cut in onto his left and bend one into the top corner, it's literally his trademark goal, but he hasn't done it once for us.

Agreed, it’s a shame and largely frustrating with Sarabia.

It’s absolutely nothing to do with his talent - there’s not much doubting that, technically, he’s up there with anyone else in the squad for natural ability.

It looks like a combination of mindset and fitness to me. Never plays two games well on the bounce .

He’s never, really, looked like he wants to be here, from what I’ve seen.

Yeah, I'd agree with that. It's weird - we have a squad full of playing/coaching staff that you'd think he'd get on with (and maybe he does). He's on a big wage. You'd think that he'd be enjoying himself, but a lot of the time he comes across like he'd rather be anywhere else but here! Same can be said for a few players under the Fosun era. I'm no body language expert so am probably reading far too much into it, but he's one of those players that hugely frustrates me. Clearly talented but just not the right kind of player for a club at our level. Then you'll see him go somewhere else and be fantastic.

As irrational as it may be, I don't want to see him starting games of football for us and he's one I wouldn't be sorry to see go in the summer.

Well, he's always been a bit stroppy. He's a Madrileño, it comes with the territory.

Ha - Bolshy’ I’d say!
Also worth considering that Madrileños and Portuguese don’t have an instinctively collaborative working relationship. Doesn’t really explain the rest of his time with us mind. Simply that there has hardly ever been a meaningful Castilian clique at the club (again, no excuse).

With Cunha, Sarabia and Semedo likely leaving in the summer, there's a good 400k a week of salary being freed up there.

How dare you disrespect the impact Double Champions League winning Jesús Vallejo had on the club.

If Agbadou isn’t fit I’d start Doc. Don’t want to watch bueno get bullied by 6ft 4 Beto.

Rodrigo and Ran interchangeable

Would prefer bellegarde over Sarabia just for his athleticism
