Wolves - Middlesbrough 24/10/15 Matchday Thread

Decent attack there as Byrne stepped over the ball to leave Afobe in the clear but as he shoots, Friend arrives with a long toe to deflect the ball out for a corner.
Nothing comes of that. VLP getting more into the game...

Downing getting ready to come on.
Amorebieta commits hie 3rd serious GBH and at last he gets a yellow. That 4 yellows for Boro...

THe crowd getting really vocal now huge chants rising all around the ground as Edwards charges forward and releases a lovely ball through to Afobe but a great tackle robs him of the chance to score. much more like it.

James Henry replaces the hard-working but fruitless Van La Parra, who is absolutely gutted. Edwards and Batth give him a pat.

Meanwhile, Ayala just stopped it being 2-0 (apparently).

Cross comes in but Nugent is leaning back and can't get any power into that header so Martinez gets to that comfortably.
Watford 2 up v Stoke!
Love it! Saw Hughes stumbling through, "We seem to be getting it right..."

66' Byrne whips a wonderful ball into the Boro box, Henry catches on the half-volley and forces a great save from the 'keeper.
.

A great surging attack with keeper saving a great shot from Henry and the ball runs loose for Afobe to come through a crowd of player to try to force it over the line and the ref blows.... for a free kick to Boro.
Thought that was for a pen then!

The ball is deflected out for a corner and the linesman standing just there says it's a goal kick so the ref goes with that.
Afobe nearly in tears with the grossness of that miscarriage!
Pointing with both hands to the corner flag which is right here....

71' Diego Fabbrini finds room for a shot on the edge of the Wolves box and picks out the bottom corner with a low effort.

Tim Mk II feels Martinez should have saved it.

Fabrini given far too much time, KMac, Price and Edwards all over the far side and a big hole appears into which both the ball and then Fabbrini appears and he hits it first time from just outside the box across the goal into the bottom left corner, with Martinez looking slightly wrong footed... Could he have done better?
