Wolves Kit Thread

I sold a load of my Dads old Wolves shirts.

Got £90 for the tyre one that was very well worn.

Recent Wolves kits that will go for good money are the Mexico and Portugal tops from Adidas
I mean, I have a doritos top in mint condition. Part way through the chat I nearly gave it away for nothing!

Me too. Black away shirt from the Prem 03/04 season. With Lescott 5 on the back.

Must be worth a decent amount now.

Got loads in my wardrobe, sure to have the Doritos one, all only worn for one season, in fact the one for the lockdown season was never worn.

There seems to be quite a market. Sadly one of the most prolific collectors left us recently. I’ve got a couple of boxes of shirts up the loft. But not really interested in flogging them.

I got rid of most of mine when I came over. Must have been forty shirts at least. Oh well.

Something to do with the floodlights if i remember.
Wolves' famous fluorescent shirts were not originally commissioned by Wolves for their floodlit games.

Wolves decided to experiment with 'luminous' gold shirts in the winter of 1951, aware that the old gold they wore in those days was not easily visible on dark winter afternoons. Floodlights were not permitted in Football League or FA Cup games at the time so Wolves thought the brighter shirts would be a good idea.
