First home game is the following Saturday v Reading.

We finish the season at home v Preston. (with what could be a very tricky final run in of Brighton, Leeds, Blackburn, Derby & Preston).

Fulham v Newcastle United will be the first game played in the new season. They meet at Craven Cottage on the Friday, live on Sky Sports.

KJ has up to the newcastle game as far as I'm concerned. If the season starts how the last two thirds of last season ended I'll be enraged. I don't want another wasted season.

Those first seven games look pretty kind on paper. If we had anything about us we'd be looking to get off to a flyer. Probably settle for seven points though.

I'd agree with that anything less than 12 points from the first 7 games is unacceptable really as that is as gentle a start as you could wish for.

I don't think we'll be that much of a catch this season considering how mediocre we were last season, Newcastle and Villa can expect a complete destruction of their fixtures.
